THE EDUCATION MARKETPLACE is a private trade & lobby organization that actively advocates and works along with the relevant Government agencies to enable private education companies to have greater participation in the provision of goods and services to the public education sector. Our organisation is designed to promote and protect the interests of its members.

The formal establishment and investment in an education marketplace will see a significant growth in the number of great products and services being offered to education as well as the educational outcomes for students nationally at all levels (from early childhood to university). We must applaud the current providers of products and services to the market as well as the current investors who are investing in these companies and the wider market opportunities.

There is a lot of gap and unmet needs in the education market. These needs and gaps exist in the public service offering, within schools and in the homes. There are a lot of small businesses that need further development and there are a lot of individuals who have brilliant ideas around products and services that they believe they can create and offer to the market. This is where THE EDUCATION MARKETPLACE comes in. We have the network, the resources, the support and capabilities to assist existing and newly formed companies to bring great products and service to the education market. The education market is NOT an exclusive club and it does not exist only for some, but for all persons who are interested in offering great products and services to the local education market. We recognize that there are companies and individuals that are keen to add value to the education industry and we would like to support them to do so.

Collaboration between Government and businesses is the way to grow education, the education sector and the economy. We believe that there is a place in the education sector for private establishments to support the growth of education and invest in the necessary social infrastructure, human capital, and resources needed to achieve the national goals. Formal establishment and further investment in the education marketplace will bring great benefits to the nation’s children, the Government, schools and parents.
